Prediction of the Transport of Toxic Agents Over Urban and Rural Areas in Kuwait
Overview
In December 2002, Dr. Paolo Zannetti, President of EnviroComp Consulting, Inc., was invited to visit Kuwait City by the Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research. During the visit he attended a series of meetings with government representatives and local scientists for the purpose of developing a gas dispersion model and emergency response system for the state of Kuwait.
Dr. Zannetti helped define the possible scenarios related to chemical emergencies under different weather conditions and advised the local authorities on the use of real-time emergency response systems for evacuation and alert to the general population.
