EnviroComp Consulting, Inc. has provided consulting support in several agricultural cases involving the use of pesticides. Our work has often required collection and interpretation of available meteorological data; historical reconstruction of pesticide application; computer simulation of aerial drift of pesticides; and visualization / animation of data and events.

Alleged Pesticide Drift Incident in Kern County, CA

This litigation case dealt with alleged drift of pesticides from aerial applications, with claimed damage to neighboring growers' crops. The sprayed herbicide was Gramoxone, whose active ingredient is Paraquat. The spray was performed over a few days in February 2015 using an Air Tractor AT-802A aircraft. [Read More]


Idaho Growers

In 1999 and 2000, Oust© herbicide was sprayed on more than 50,000 acres of rangeland in South Central Idaho. Subsequently, contaminated dust was resuspended and and deposited over downwind agricultural fields, injuring Idaho farmers' crops. [Read More]
